On March 10th, a General Tea Party unfolded within the Main Shrine of Xiang Yun Temple, drawing a crowd of over 80 attendees. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the Golden Cowboy Band took the stage, filling the air with melodious Buddhist hymns, and the audience eagerly joined in, harmonizing along the Way to Buddhahood. Meanwhile, the dedicated youth volunteers from BLIA exemplified the essence of hospitality, serving snacks and tea with unwavering respect and warmth to every guest.

Inside the solemn halls of the Main Shrine, the projector screens illuminated the invaluable contributions of the volunteers, showcasing their tireless efforts. Host Sister Zhou Li shared the Master Hsing-Yun’s insight of “Where does happiness stem from?". This prompted heartfelt reflections from the youth volunteers, who shared personal anecdotes and insights gleaned from their experiences in service. Venerable Jue Ji then shed light on the significance of the General Tea Party, extending heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work of the volunteers.

Adding a musical flourish to the festivities, Austin's acclaimed saxophonist graced the occasion with a captivating repertoire of classic jazz melodies, culminating in a soul-stirring rendition of "Jasmine." As the final notes of the performance filled the air, a wave of jubilation swept through the crowd, igniting an impromptu dance that transcended age and background.

Following spirited exchanges between volunteers and revered monastics, Venerable Jue Ji led the assembly in reciting Master Hsing-Yun's "Prayer for Volunteers" before distributing the blessed dish of "longevity noodles," symbolizing nourishment and fostering a sense of affinity among all present. Many departed with hearts brimming with joy, eagerly participating in Pickleball matches in the courtyard, capping off a delightful afternoon of fellowship and celebration.
