Wisdom lamp carries the meaning of loving-kindness and compassion, giving of light and brightening the world. Relying on the Buddha light which shines everywhere, the wisdom lamp fills the world with warmth, blessing, brightness and harmony.
Lamps offering to the Buddha will be available at this temple for anyone who wishes to accumulate merits. At 10:30am on Feb. 5, the temple will hold the Wisdom Lamp Disaster Eradicating Dharma service. By the merit of this lamp offering and Dharma service, may all devotees and their families enjoy peace and harmony, may all their wishes be fulfilled, may the society be prosperous and may the world be peaceful. We sincerely invite you to pay respect to the Buddha and enjoy the Dharma joy and reward.

Yang-style Taijichuan is very popular in China. The reason master Chiu likes to teach this particular style is for its gentle and graceful movements. The amount and length of the session is not only good for health but also for a calm and focused mind.  It is convenient to practice, and suitable for a busy lifestyle.

Today, even with many available resources like videos and books to learn Taijichuan, master Chiu thinks that it is still better to have a good instructor to follow in the beginning.

If you would like to experience the good health and calm focused mind that you gain from studying Tai Chi, we would love to welcome you to our class.  Check our class page to see the schedule of when we meet.
